On day 2 of ‘The Rings’, we explored the 30+ miles of The Ring of Dingle, full of amazing things to see, despite being much shorter than Ring of Kerry.
The Ring of Kerry was an amazing 120 mile (or so) drive with amazing scenic points as you make your way around the Inveragh Peninsula.
We arrived in Killarney early enough to get checked into our hotel and take off for a bit of exploring before sunset – enough time to see Torc Waterfall in the Killarney National Forest and Ross Castle on Lough Leane, the largest of three lakes in the area. Driving Shoes Off – Hiking Shoes On …
Limerick was initially going to be just a quick stop for lunch, but it was so charming we had to look around!
The Cliffs of Moher are grand and majestic beyond all expectations. Seeing it on a rainy misty day only added to the intrigue of this magical place.
Our boat tour took us to explore Inisheer, one of the Aran Islands and over to the Cliffs of Moher.
