The Cliffs of Moher

The Cliffs of Moher

I had grand expectations of the Cliffs of Moher... which were not grand enough!

As we approached by boat from Inisheer, the scale of the Cliffs of Moher is tough to grasp, until you get close enough and can see people at the top. With the waves crashing against the base of the cliffs and the foggy misty conditions, it was a surreal and ominous view. Breathtaking!

One of the inclusions of our trip was a stop for lunch at nearby McGann’s Pub in Doolin, where we enjoyed fish & chips and Irish Stew.
